We are not black tie wearing robots

Jack Kerouac inspires me, but hey…who can blame me? He inspired Allen Ginsberg too. I mean the man invented the beat generation. A whole movement of art, and people, and poetry… He liberalized publishing by saying the things no one could. And maybe it did take a little obscenity, but if I could have only been around during a time where spontaneous creativity was key, where the tip of your tongue was a masterpiece, not a machine. I think I’ve read “on the road,” every year…and each time I get something new from it. It tells me a new story.
 
So, where am I going with this?
 
That’s my joy, the reason I love being a part of Whipp. We are not black tie wearing robots at a Laundromat spitting out calculated creations. Instead, we are creators. We get to be inspired every day and put that into our work. For me, today…that means I am thinking of Jack Kerouac while I edit an audio clip of strong, rebellious drums for a commercial.
